73rd International Camping & Caravanning Rally
18th - 29th July 2007 Millstreet, Co. Cork, Ireland
The venue of the 2007 F.I.C.C. Rally is Millstreet, Co. Cork and is situated midway between Killarney and Mallow. This was the location for the 59th Rally in 1997.
The area where the 73rd F.I.C.C. Rally is taking place is known as Green Glens and it is now world-famous for its important equestrian events. If in 1997 you had the opportunity to participate, I'm sure you might still have good memories of the occasion, but you should not miss this new opportunity to come again because every F.I.C.C. Rally is unique, and it is you the participants who makes this difference. The organisers guarantee that the site is suitable for big outdoor events and they will prepare several activities for all campers of all ages, which we know you will probably enjoy and remember for many years to come. On behalf of the F.I.C.C., I give you all a hearty welcome to this Rally. It is my belief that when taking this opportunity you are going to have an enjoyable holiday together with many other camping, caravanning and motor-caravanning enthusiasts in the emerald island.
Rally Location & Facilities
The picturesque area where the prestigious 73rd FICC Rally is taking place is known as Green Glens. It is located in Millstreet town and was at one time known as the Coomlogane Estate. It is now world-famous for its important equestrian events, concerts and was the location for the Eurovision song contest in 1993. The main events and evening entertainment programme will take place in the Green Glens Arena. There is electricity on site for all as well as several toilettes and shower rooms, meeting rooms, bar & restaurant, tourist office, shops (camping accessories and general food provisions).
Earls Court Caravan and Outdoor Cancelled
Clarion Events has decided to delay the launch of a new look Earls Court Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show until 2008.
The decision was made following in depth consultation with the industry and with a number of organisations which all expressed interest in working with Clarion to expand and develop the Show into a much bigger and more groundbreaking event than originally planned.
Says Sam North, “We have the opportunity to completely rework the Show into something new and radically different which will reflect the needs of the industry and the caravanning community as well as being instrumental in opening up the market to new audiences, something no other Southern caravan show is truly capable of achieving. If we went ahead with the 2007 Show we would only be offering visitors a small element of what they can enjoy in 2008.”
Clarion intends to make a series of announcements about the new Show both publicly and personally early next year. This information is eagerly awaited by the industry and based on its overwhelming enthusiasm of the new NEC Show, it will be putting its full support behind it.

New Caravanning search engine
This is a new caravanning and camping search engine which will return results specifically from sites we enter into it. In other words, the better and more websites we enter the better the results we will get.
For example:
A search using the word caravan in the normal Google search engine will return results from the rock band caravan, Cessna caravan or even a mobile shopping experience!
A search using the word caravan in this search engine will only return results related to our hobby. For example, The Caravan Club
But to make it work we need Volunteers to help build it. There are approximately 350 websites already entered but that is just the start.
If you would like to contribute by way of giving up some time to help build it Click here
If you would like to test it Click here to visit the new search engine
Or you can try it for yourself at the top of the page
